​Our Fitted wardrobes are manufactured using a CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine, which is a highly automated and precise tool for cutting and shaping materials. Here's a general overview of how or London fitted wardrobes are made using a CNC machine:

1. Design and Programming:
   • The process begins with the design of the fitted wardrobe using computer-aided design (CAD) software. We use software called cabinet vision.
   • The design is then converted into a format compatible with CNC machines, and a program is created to guide the CNC machine in the manufacturing process.
2. Material Selection:
   • The chosen material, often sheets of particleboard, MDF, plywood, or a similar engineered wood product, is selected based on the design requirements and what the customer wishes to achieve with their bespoke joinery project.
3. Material Preparation:
   • The sheets of material are placed on the CNC machine's work table.
   • The CNC machine is equipped with a cutting tool, which include routers, drills, and other cutting tools, depending on the design and requirements.
4. Cutting and Shaping:
   • The CNC machine follows the programmed instructions to precisely cut and shape the individual components of the fitted wardrobe.
   • This includes cutting out panels for the sides, back, and doors, as well as creating openings for drawers, shelves, and other features.
5. Drilling and Machining:
   • The CNC machine can also drill holes for hardware such as hinges, handles, and other fittings.
   • Additionally, the machine can perform machining operations, such as creating grooves or decorative patterns, as specified in the design.
6. Edging:
   • After the primary cutting and shaping, the edges of the components may be processed to add edge banding, which is a strip of material (often matching the surface material) applied to the edges for a finished look and added durability.
7. Assembly:
   • The individual components are then assembled at site, based on the design specifications.
   • Joinery methods, such as dowels, screws, or other fasteners, may be used to secure the pieces together.
8. Finishing:
   • The finished wardrobe may undergo additional finishing processes, such as painting, staining, or applying a protective coating.
